Owner/Operator:
Porter Baker is a Rowan County native and a North Rowan graduate. He has been riding bicycles since elementary school and began teaching himself how to work on bikes as a teenager.

In September 2014, Porter became certified in Professional Mechanic and Shop Operation. In 2015 and 2017 he worked with the Hincapie Road Cycling Race Team. In 2018, he took part in Cycle Across America where he was a mechanic and rode every other day from Washington state to Massachusetts. 

In more recent years, he has over 8 years of bike shop experience across North Carolina including shop management. Porter is an avid Greenway and local infrastructure user. He rides his bike from his home in Spencer to work every day the weather allows.
